Delegate Assembly Meeting

What is this? The Delegates Assembly is our monthly membership meeting for MCCPTA. At this meeting, we share news and information and conduct the organization’s business, most importantly, making decisions about advocacy priorities. Attendance at these meetings will give you a systems-level view of MCPS issues and concerns, provide information to take back to your local unit, and enable you to ensure your local unit’s perspective is taken into account as we define our advocacy priorities.

Who Attends? Local PTA/PTSA President and Delegates, Board of Directors, and ExComm. Each local PTA/PTSA unit is allocated three votes at the Delegates Assembly — two delegates and the President. While it may be difficult for your full team to attend each and every meeting, your vote matters.

How do I sign up? MCCPTA's Office Manager will send out calendar invitations to the email you provided in the MCCPTA Directory once the calendar is officially approved. These will include the Zoom registration link as well as links to folders. We encourage you to review the folders before the meetings and come with questions!
