The Reflections program is a county-wide arts competition featuring talents of students in the areas of visual arts, dance choreography, music composition, photography, film making, and literature. Reflections begins at the local PTA level and then the top students from each local PTA compete at the MCCPTA level. Honorees at the county level then progress to the Free State PTA and eventually the National PTA.

MCCPTA is officially kicking off the PTA Reflections Arts Program! Reflections is a low-cost/budget-neutral PTA program that supports student talent in the arts. Whether the student artist is interested in dance choreography, film production, music composition, visual arts, photography, or literature -- there's a place to showcase one's creative side. Students receive recognition through opportunities to display their artwork or production and a chance to receive scholarships. Each year, National PTA chooses a new theme which is intended to inspire students to express their creativity while embracing their unique perspectives. The 2025–2026 Reflections theme is "I Belong!". Bring the National PTA Reflections Arts Program to your school/PTA in the 2025-2026 school year!

This is a fall arts program for students, so it is important to start planning as soon as possible if you would like to implement the program this coming school year. There is a deadline to submit student artwork to MCCPTA, and that date is Tuesday, December 23rd, 2025. It is also important to schedule a preliminary submission date just for your school, so that the school Reflections Chair has time to address any issues with student submissions.
