Ever wonder
"Why no Co-Treasurers?"

There are eight (8) Standards of Continuing Affiliation (SoCA) requirements mandated and monitored by Maryland PTA to maintain the good standing of your local PTA/PTSA. As the treasurer, you are responsible for taking a lead role in completing five of them.  Good standing not only preserves your non-profit 501(c)3 status, but it ensures that your students can participate in the Reflections program through the National PTA level and allows you to attend the Maryland PTA Summer Convention and cast a vote!  CLICK HERE for more information on SoCA Requirements.

Connect with other PTA/PTSA treasurers in Montgomery County.
Join the Treasurer’s E-list. To subscribe, send an e-mail to Include: Name / School / Position/Term (if any)

Membership Dues Payments?  Make them monthly.  Maryland PTA will send you a voucher each month based on the number of membership cards your local unit is sent.  To pay MCCPTA, download our membership dues voucher HERE.  Please pay monthly; make it easy on yourself and write the checks for Maryland PTA ($4 per member) and MCCPTA ($1 per member) at the same time.
