Literacy: It's More Than Just Reading

All Are Welcome!!
Wednesday, March 12th 7:30-9:15 pm
Richard Montgomery High School Cafeteria

Come hear how the new curriculum is challenging and encouraging our students to become more literate individuals.

Break-out Sessions for Elementary, Middle and High School so you can see your child's curriculum in action along with what's coming up next in Reading/Language Arts and English.

Wrap-up panel discussion to include how the new curriculum works for all learners and why MCPS believes that this approach both deepens students' learning and broadens their ability to successfully engage in a range of activities (reading, writing, speaking, listening and language usage).

We hope to see you there!

Curriculum Committee:  Represents parents, students, and teachers, advocating for effective course content to engage and to develop children toward readiness for 21st century careers, whether college or vocational-bound, and communicates current and potential curriculum issues or concerns to PTA members and MCPS.
